The “T” Behind “TS”.

Hello! I’m Todd, a graphic designer, brand strategist, and photographer. I even have video production in my tool belt.

I was born in Central Illinois in 1969 and grew up watching Saturday morning cartoons, riding my BMX bike around our small town, building tree houses in the woods, and playing with my Star Wars action figures. My love for art began at an early age, sketching my favorite Star Wars characters and Indiana Jones adventures.

I discovered graphic design in high school where my path shifted from drawing and painting, to designing ads, layouts and headlines. I LOVE designing with typography! I discovered my love of photography at this time too, and learned how to develop my own film!

I studied graphic design at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and upon graduating I took my first job as a graphic designer at a small ad agency. After a few agency gigs and working my way up as an Art Director, I landed a job as an in-house designer for a Fortune 500 Company. I designed everything from product literature, service manuals, trade show displays, web sites, facility branding, to lots and lots of presentation templates. I captured photography and video all over the world and have visited all but two continents! I’ve worked with incredible teams, have been the creative lead on several high profile projects, and have personally supported two CEOs.

After 21 years of working in the corporate world, I am now on my own doing what I still love to do…create purposeful identity designs and branding for clients, with a sprinkle of photography where it’s needed. Many of the great people I’ve met have asked if I do drone work. After several of these inquires, I obtained my Part 107 Remote Pilot certification and purchased my own drone. So yes, I can do drone projects!

My family and I reside in the Middle Tennessee area where I have the passion to help businesses develop a brand that tells their story.

Now that you know a little about me, I’d love to hear more about you! Let’s connect and build something great together.
